Degrade from Lidköping, Sweden was founded early 2002 by Victor, Kristian and Berto. A couple of months later Söder joined the club. Some songs where written without any vocals but later that year they found Manne and the setting was complete. By the next summer they have had some gigs and entered the local "Studio Nätverket" to record their demo "Feasting on bloody chunks". The respons of the demo was good and pushed the band forward.

With more experience and hard work the direction was set, a more brutal and diverse sound. in the summer of 2004 songs were recorded for a upcoming MCD. the demo generated a deal with a label but problems with communication and delays made degrade switch label to italian based permeated records. "Hanged and disemboweled", the debut release was unleashed at the end of february 2005.

2006 many good gigs were played. higlight of the year were NRW deathfest in wermelskirchen germany. new cD "Lost Torso Found" is recorded during the summer and released 28 November through pemeated records.
